Austrian Lineup for EURO 2021

Austrian selector, Franco Foda, has revealed the expanded list of 30 players who will get the chance to compete for their country at this year’s European championship/

Since 2008, Austria hasn’t had much luck in this competition. Nevertheless, the new generation of the squad can definitely have a chance to make the best score ever for Austria! Especially since their competition, Macedonia, Netherlands, and Ukraine, doesn’t seem to be so unbreakable.

The preliminary, expanded list of 30 players includes some of the aces of Bundesliga and the future stopper of Serbian team Red Star. Austrian National Team has great strength in the midfield. There are high-class football players in the Bundesliga, such as Sabicer from Leipzig. We can also expect to see Grilish and Baugrantlinger from Hoffenheim.

Besides the stars of Bundesliga, there is Aleksandar Dragovic, the future stopper of Red Star, Adrijan Grbic from Lorient, the defenders Andreas Ulmer and Stefan Leiner. The biggest name on defense is David Alaba, but a lot is expected from Dragović and Martin Hinterger from Eintracht.
