The Swedes announced their Squad
Swedish Selector, Jane Anderson, has announced the Squad of the Sweden National Team for European Championship 2021! Ibrahimovic will not play for his country due to injury.
The list of 26 players didn’t include the 39-year-old Zlatan Ibrahimovic, due to a knee injury he suffered in the duel with Juventus and is still in the rehabilitation process. He has also been restricted to just 19 Serie A appearances. It was confirmed on Sunday that the Swedish striker won’t be able to join his national team this time.
In the group stage, the rivals of the Swedish team will be Spain, Poland, and Slovakia. The tactic in Group E will open on June 14 against the Red Fury.
