Wales EURO 2021 Squad

Even though the championship starts in June, the manager of Wales, Robert Page, has announced the names of 28 players who’ll be a part of the Wales EURO 2021 training Squad in Portugal. The squad for Wales EURO 2021 will be announced on Sunday (June 30th).

After “breaching protocols” in March earlier this year, West Brom’s forward Hal Robson-Kanu was sent home. Page has excluded him from the list of the Wales training squad, despite playing for his team in the Premier League season. Since he’s not a part of the training squad, it’s most likely that he’ll be out of the final Wales EURO 2021 squad.

Perhaps the best Wales’ player is the on-loan Tottenham forward Gareth Bale. Even though he is not as formidable as he once was, Gareth Bale can be one of the crucial players to help his team to triumph thanks to his great form and leadership skills on the field.

The training camp is being held in the Algarve region and will last until Saturday. This camp will help Robert Page to make the final decision who’ll make it to the final list. The Wales Football Association stated that this training camp is a great opportunity for the team to make the final preparations for the upcoming matches against France and Albania.

It will also be the last chance for the players to impress the coaches and make it to the list.

Wales will be playing in Group A against Italy, Switzerland and Turkey. They’ll play against Switzerland on 12 June in Baku. Four days later they’ll play against Turkey at the same place. On June 20 they’ll face Italy in Rome.
