Macini Have Trouble With Injuries

Azura’s coach has announced a preliminary list of 33 players for the upcoming European Championship after it’s confirmed that Roberto Mancini will be at the helm of the Italian national team until 2026!

Giorgino and Emerson, who will be playing for Chelsea in the final match of the Championship League against Manchester City on 29th of May, are missing from the list. Nevertheless, that fact could change after that final match and they can become a part of the definitive list which will contain 26 players (7 less than the preliminary list).

On the other side, Paris Saint-Germain recently announced that the 28-year-old midfielder Marko Verati ended the season due to a knee problem and that his recovery will take four to six week. Nonetheless, Mancini has included him in the team.

Another two players from the list are still recovering from the injury – Leonardo Spinacola and Francesco Acerbi, so their place on the definitive list is still uncertain.

One of the most interesting things is that the striker Sassuolo Giacomo Raspadori got the debut call to join the Italian Squad for the EURO 2021! He has managed to score five and assist two goals in the last 9 games! The famous veterans, Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci are still in the team,

The Italian national team will play two friendly matches: the first on May 28 with San Marino, and then on June 4 with the Czech Republic on the eve of the European Championship.
