France National Team EURO 2021 – All Important Information

World Champions from 2018 are more than ready to pick up the European Championship trophy this summer and to add it to their World Cup trophy. France was host of the previous championship. Despite playing impressively in the first part of the final match at EURO 2016, they lost to Portugal.

Fortunately for France, two years later they made one of the biggest successes in the history of their football, winning the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. Their main goal is to win EURO 2021 and become both World and European Champions once again. Will they manage to do so?

Here is all the detailed information about the football manager of the team, their possible lineup, key players, tactics, form, full squad, possible lineup, and the schedule of upcoming matches!

Football Manager of the France National Team

Didier Deschamps is a former football player and the manager of the France National Team since 2012. During his career as a player, Didier played as a defensive midfielder for numerous clubs such as Nantes, Marseille, Bordeaux on loan, Juventus, Chelsea, and Valencia.

In 1998, Didier was a World Cup-winning captain. After 3 years, in 2001 he started his managing career first as a manager of Monaco, then Juventus, Marselle, and France.

So far his biggest achievements in his coaching career is leading his national team to the quarter-finals of the 2014 World Cup, to the final of the UEFA European Championship in 2016, and, of course, winning the 2018 FIFA World Cup, after defeating Croatia with the following result: France 4-2 Croatia.

Deschamps has managed to achieve big things for the history of French football thanks to his fantastic man-management skills and rich experience both as a player and coach. Didier managed to get his players to be focused on the ball and the game, which resulted in huge success for the whole team.

What would a possible lineup look like when it comes to the French national team? We predict to see Lloris on the goal, Varane, Kimpembe, Pavard, and Hernandez in the defense, Pogba, Kante, and Coman in the midfield, and Griezmann, Benzema and Mbape in the front line, who will be in charge for the attack.

The Key Player of the France National Team

Kylian Mbappe, a forward for Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain and the France National Team. In 2018, at the Fifa World Cup, he became the youngest French player who has managed to score at that tournament, and the second teenager to score in the World Cup finals after Brazilian former footballer Pele.

Mbappe is a phenom who has the average score of 1 goal per 90 minutes. He’s one of the best football players in the history of French football. He has everything a footballer should have: talent, skill, speed, and energy to do miracles on the field.

Besides Mbappe, Paul Pogba is known as France’s midfield maestro who can decide the fate of his team, since France is much better with him in the squad. He is controlling, authoritative with the ball and we are sure that he’s gonna be at the top of the game. After all, e’s the squad leader.

Tactics & Form of the France National Team for the EURO 2021

Football fans are eager to know what tactics Deschamps will use for the upcoming matches of the France National Team. Although he often used the system with 3 at the back, we expect that Didier Dechamps will probably use the 4-3-1-2 formation. This system was used when France won the World Cup in 1998 and when Deschamps played for the National Team.

When it comes to the form of the team, France has managed to breeze through qualification for the EURO 2020 winning 8 out of 10 matches. They have proved their strength and domination against every rival, except for the Turkey National Team who ended in the second place.

Besides losing and drawing to Turkey, France was far superior to almost any opponent, walking their way into the European Championship. During the qualifications, Antonie Griezmann has managed to clock up a joint-best 7 best assists among all players in the qualifications for the EURO 2020.
